About Doosan

Doosan’s success emerged following Korean machinery giant’s purchase of a 51 percent controlling share in DHL for $1.7bn. From its first small steps in 1896, Doosan now boasts of being the oldest company in Korea, from the 1990s, adding construction, engineering and electronics to an extensive portfolio.

Doosan is made up of 20 affiliate companies involved in a host of different activities form power plant construction, diesel engine manufacturing, shopping malls and professional baseball. Now employing 35,000 people in 33 different countries and recently purchased the equipment firm Bobcat, for almost $5bn.

Doosan have picked up four forklift “ARCHIES” (forklift truck industry awards) in a row for their safety innovations and design excellence.
